Utility WorkerThe Utility Worker will be a vital part of the receiving department, responsible for loading and unloading containers by hand. This role requires precision and attention to detail to ensure the efficient processing of orders.ResponsibilitiesProcess orders according to priority set by the Group Lead to meet customer requirements.Receive, pick, package, and label shipments according to the Distribution SOP.Use a picking cart or powered industrial truck to locate materials and fulfill orders.Complete paper documentation requirements for packing and shipping hazardous chemicals.Maintain good housekeeping and keep inventory neat, clean, and orderly.Complete paper documentation requirements as outlined by Distribution SOPs.Verify proper storage conditions of products and notify the supervisor of any inventory issues such as Can't Finds, Expired Products, Breakage, and Out-Of-Stocks.Essential SkillsAbility to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.Capability to work independently and possess problem-solving abilities.Physical ability to constantly stand and move around the department.Frequent walking, stooping, bending, and reaching.Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance.Strength to lift, carry, pull, and push up to 40-50 lbs frequently and 75 lbs occasionally.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with palletizing, shipping, and receiving.Familiarity with packing, picking, and shipping processes.A High School Diploma or GED.Ability to read and write in English.Willingness to stay until all orders are processed.General warehouse experience preferred, especially in packaging.Why Work Here?Management is committed to supporting employees through weekly performance reviews and feedback conversations, ensuring each team member has the resources to succeed. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nazareth, PA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
