Travel Radiation Therapist

American Traveler seeks a Radiation Therapist with active TX license and 2+ years of experience for a 13-week day-shift assignment in an outpatient oncology setting. Requirements Active TX Radiation Therapist license required (if applicable) ARRT(R) certification required Current BLS certification required Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist Teaching hospital experience preferred Experience with brachytherapy and intracavity/interstitial administration preferred Experience with CT simulation, custom molds, and CBCT/kV/mV imaging preferred Experience with IMRT and stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) preferred Knowledge of radiation safety protocols required Ability to care for patients in restraints and use lift/transfer devices Full SSN and DOB required for consideration Responsibilities 13-week contract, day shift (5x8, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM) Outpatient radiation therapy setting, primarily adult patients Approximate ratio of 20 patients per Radiation Therapist No weekends, on-call, or floating required Epic EMR experience required Utilizes treatment equipment such as Elekta Infinity, Elekta Versa HD, GE, and HexaPOD systems Performs pretreatment, dosimetry, and external beam therapy procedures Responsible for delivering radiation therapy treatments and performing pretreatment and dosimetry procedures Provides patient and family education throughout treatment Requires two supervisory references covering at least 1 year of employment within the last 3 years Minimal RTO approved; must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays Open to first-time travelers Local candidates accepted, though a 50-mile radius rule applies for travel rate eligibility Former permanent staff may return as travelers after a 3-month waiting period Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll DepositFree Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts Job ID: P-748707 Open Positions: 1 #J-18808-Ljbffr
