The organization is seeking a PCU Registered Nurse for an inpatient unit specializing in cardiac and medical diagnoses. The role focuses on providing high-quality patient care within a short-term acute care environment, with a strong emphasis on the management of cardiac and medical conditions. Job Details Certifications: BLS, ACLS (Preferred) Education Requirements: Current licensure in State of practice, valid Compact license in hand at submission Experience Required: 1 year of experience in Cardiac Telemetry, Progressive Care Units, or Telemetry units. Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week Required Qualifications: Current licensure in State of practice, valid Compact license, at least 1 year of experience in relevant units, knowledge of cardiac telemetry, and ability to manage post-procedural cardiac care Additional Qualifications: Must be able to manage cardiac drips without titration, perform sheath pulls, and handle various cardiac and medical diagnoses, including sepsis, arrhythmias, chest pain, syncope, and pacemaker management Preferred Qualifications: ACLS certification, experience with charting systems such as EPIC, and experience working in a short-term acute care hospital setting Additional Information: Candidate must respond to onboarding questions, including prior work at Providence facilities and references covering the past 1 year, with verification of experience in relevant units.
