The PACU – Registered Nurse is responsible for the total care of patients within assigned unit. Under the general supervision of the Nurse Manager, or designee, with-in the framework of the RN license, participates in the following activities:Provides patient care utilizing the Nursing Process:systematically assesses the health status of the patientanalyzes and interprets data and makes nursing judgments regarding careplans, implements and coordinates nursing interventionsevaluates outcome of nursing interventionsrevises/updates plan of caredocuments nursing process clearly and conciselyCommunicates nursing plan effectivelyThis is a part-time position, 16 hours per week, day shifts, with weekend and holiday rotation.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Current Massachusetts RN licenseBSN Preferred2-3 years previous ICU or PACU experience requiredCurrent BLS and ACLS required with American Heart AssociationPay Range:$36.00 – $90.14The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
