Dental Assistant (EDDA) – Littleton, CO

Blanchard and Richardson Family Dentistry is seeking an experienced Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA) to join our team! We are looking for a motivated, compassionate, and detail-oriented dental assistant who thrives in a patient-focused environment and is committed to providing exceptional care.

Schedule

• 25–36 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Assist the doctor during a variety of general dental procedures
• Prepare and break down treatment rooms
• Take digital radiographs and intraoral images
• Perform expanded duties as permitted by Colorado regulations
• Assist with impressions, temporary restorations, and other clinical procedures
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical notes
• Follow OSHA and infection control protocols
• Monitor inventory and restock supplies as needed
• Work closely with the clinical and administrative team to provide an outstanding patient experience

Qualifications

• Current Colorado EDDA certification
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Dental radiology certification
• Previous dental assisting experience required
• Strong knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and terminology
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy practice

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, or similar dental software
• Experience in a general dentistry practice
• Strong chairside assisting skills
• Digital radiography experience
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply
