Dental Assistant (EDDA) – Littleton, CO
Blanchard and Richardson Family Dentistry is seeking an experienced Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA) to join our team! We are looking for a motivated, compassionate, and detail-oriented dental assistant who thrives in a patient-focused environment and is committed to providing exceptional care.
Schedule
- 25–36 hours per week

Responsibilities
- Assist the doctor during a variety of general dental procedures
- Prepare and break down treatment rooms
- Take digital radiographs and intraoral images
- Perform expanded duties as permitted by Colorado regulations
- Assist with impressions, temporary restorations, and other clinical procedures
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical notes
- Follow OSHA and infection control protocols
- Monitor inventory and restock supplies as needed
- Work closely with the clinical and administrative team to provide an outstanding patient experience
Qualifications
- Current Colorado EDDA certification
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Dental radiology certification
- Previous dental assisting experience required
- Strong knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and terminology
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy practice
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, or similar dental software
- Experience in a general dentistry practice
- Strong chairside assisting skills
- Digital radiography experience
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply
