The Maintenance Mechanic performs preventive and corrective maintenance on facility systems and production equipment, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical components. This role troubleshoots equipment issues, completes repairs, and responds to building emergencies to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations across all sites. Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical systems, and production equipment to minimize downtime and extend asset life. Troubleshoot and repair equipment failures using manuals, diagrams, schematics, and test instruments (e.g., multimeters, gauges). Document maintenance activities, parts used, and hours in the CMMS or designated logs. Inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems such as boilers, air handlers, chillers, condensers, compressors, and controls. Replace filters, belts, and bearings, and lubricate parts as scheduled. Adjust setpoints to optimize system performance and energy efficiency. Assist minor electrical installations and component replacements, including contactors, relays, and sensors. Maintain and repair water supply lines, drains, valves, pumps, and piping; clear blockages and repair leaks; monitor system flow and temperature. Perform minor carpentry, drywall, masonry, and painting work for building upkeep. Set up, maintain, and repair production machinery and mechanical assemblies; handle alignments, chain replacement, and bearing swaps. Coordinate with operations for timely equipment maintenance. Respond promptly to emergency calls for HVAC, electrical, or plumbing issues, ensuring safe, stable conditions. Comply with safety standards, including LOTO, PPE, and confined space entry. Maintain tools, track inventory, and request spare parts to reduce downtime and control costs. #J-18808-Ljbffr
