Service Sales RepresentativeLocation: Atlanta, GAPosition SummaryAs a Service Sales Representative (SSR) the incumbent will work in an assigned territory and partner closely with Independent Manufacturers Representatives, District Office/Service Center Managers & SSRs, Parts, and Technicians. The SSR will work to develop and maintain customer relationships in order to sell preventative maintenance contracts, service and repair work on HVAC products, and new products or projects.Key ResponsibilitiesDirects sales planning and analysis of competitive products and selling techniquesDeveloping existing customer businessPrepares sales proposalsPerforms tests and conducts surveys on competitive products in order to determine the need for product alterations or the development of new productsIdentifies and implements tools and resources to assist in sales efforts (energy rebates)Basic QualificationsHigh School Diploma required, Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline preferredCompetitor experience in commercial HVAC industry experienceDemonstrated proficiency in the MS Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel)Ability to travel 2-3x per week (locally)Preferred QualificationsPrior experience creating sales proposals, quotes, and reviewing contractsDemonstrated sales success – energized by meeting or exceeding sales goalsOutstanding relationship management, interpersonal, and problem-solving skillsDemonstrated example of taking initiative with a solid work ethicExceptional communication skills, well developed listening skills, and ability to interpret business and/or client needs
