Responsibilities The selected candidate will work in the Bridges & Structures group of the Company’s Infrastructure Division on various projects including new or rehabilitated highway, rail and pedestrian bridges and culverts, retaining walls and temporary structures for contractors. Responsibilities will include the preparation of a variety of engineering analyses and computations, CAD drawings, technical reports and cost estimates under the supervision of senior engineers. Collaborate as a member of the Bridges team to realize project deliverables and deadlines. Put classroom lessons to work in a practical, real‑world situation. Occasional field work may be required under the supervision of senior engineers or managers. In addition to the work‑centered program, we also offer robust internship programming, which includes opportunities to work with other interns, learn about other areas of the business, and develop valuable communication skills and networking connections. Qualifications Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related program. Interest in Structural design required. Must have reliable transportation to the office. Basic understanding of AutoCAD and/or Microstation preferred. Experience with structural analysis software (LEAP, MIDAS, ETABS, SAP, LARSA, etc.) is a plus. Possess solid problem‑solving skills. Must be able to work in a high‑paced environment. Strong computer literacy, to include MS Office.
