Portfolio & Asset Management Analyst - Real Estate

Job Overview Analyst – Real Estate, located in San Francisco, CA. The DWS real estate group seeks a Portfolio and Asset Management Analyst who will support Portfolio Managers and Asset Managers across 15‑25 properties in the industrial, multi‑family, and retail sectors. The role offers exposure to properties with various risk profiles and involves quantitative and qualitative analysis of portfolio performance. Responsibilities Compile underwriting in Argus and Excel to support multi‑year planning, hold‑sell decisions, financings, leasing, value‑add strategies, and quarterly reporting. Prepare Investment Committee presentations for financings, leasing, and dispositions. Analyze leasing opportunities and sensitivities via Argus, NPV analyses and market research. Work with property management and engineering teams on everyday operations and construction management. Lead the external appraisal process and complete internal valuations across several in‑house departments. Support the transition of newly acquired properties from the Transactions group to the Portfolio/Asset Management group. Qualifications Industry experience in real estate, preferably with portfolio or asset management. Bachelor’s Degree; please provide GPA in resume. Strong work ethic and critical thinking skills. Highly organized, able to multi‑task and communicate effectively. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Previous real‑estate work experience preferred. Benefits and Compensation Salary range: $90,000 to $125,000 (actual salary depends on skill set, experience, education, location, and other qualifications).
