Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified MRI Technician to join our team for a night shift position from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM. This role requires expertise in MRI procedures, with a focus on both contrast and non-contrast imaging.

Unit Information

The unit comprises 9 beds and is supported by a dedicated staff, including a charge nurse, registered nurses, certified nursing assistants, and sitters. Patient care excellence is our highest priority.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans, ensuring high-quality images for diagnosis.
• Operate GE EMR and Cerner systems effectively.
• Collaborate with medical staff to provide superior patient care.
• Adhere to all safety and health guidelines in the imaging unit.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• MRI registered.
• Breast MRI experience is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and patient-centered focus.

Work Schedule

This position requires rotating weekend shifts and adheres to a standard schedule of:

• Monday - Thursday: 7:00 AM - 10:30 PM
• Saturday - Sunday: 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Certification Requirements

Applicants must possess the necessary certifications in MRI technology.

Dress Code

All personnel in the unit are required to wear black scrubs while on duty.

Additional Information

This position is considered a contractor replacement and will not accommodate special scheduling requests.
