FOOD SERVICE WORKER

Food Service Worker – Part‑Time (Saturday, Sunday, Monday) Schedule: 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM, 24 Hours per Week. Location: Oak Plains Academy (UHS Company), Ashland City, Tennessee. Responsibilities Assist in the preparation and serving of meals according to dietary guidelines. Ensure food safety standards are met during food handling and preparation. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and dining areas. Collaborate with dietary staff to plan menus that meet the nutritional needs of residents. Support the dietary department in inventory management and food ordering. Provide excellent service during meal times, ensuring a positive dining experience for residents. Assist with meal preparation tasks as needed. Follow all health regulations and company policies regarding food service. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Valid Driver’s License or valid photo state ID. Must be 21 years old or older. Knowledge of food safety practices and food guidelines. Strong time‑management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Excellent communication skills for interacting with staff and residents. Must attend the two‑week orientation classes, Monday through Friday. This role requires a successful background check, fingerprinting, and employment verification.
