In Marietta family seeking a trustworthy and patient babysitter.

I’m looking for someone to watch my 13-month-old son, John Ellis, while I work from home. I’m hoping to find someone who is comfortable taking the lead in planning his day and keeping him engaged while I’m working. He’s an active, happy little boy who loves to play and explore. I’d love for his day to have a mix of things like playing with his toys, watching a little TV, going outside to the playground, taking walks around the neighborhood, reading books, etc. I’m not expecting you to entertain him every second, but I do want someone who enjoys coming up with things to do and getting him out of the house when appropriate. His normal routine would also include meals/snacks, diaper changes, and naps. I’ll be home and available if needed, but I’ll need to be able to focus on work during the hours you’re here. We also have two dogs who will be around the house, but you would not be responsible for caring for them. I’m really looking for someone dependable, warm, attentive, and comfortable caring for a toddler independently. Ideally, we’d love to find someone who could become a regular sitter for us if it’s a good fit!
