Senior BI Analyst — Finance, AI Enabled
Intuitive Surgical
Intuitive Surgical seeks a Senior BI Analyst to design and deliver Finance reporting, analytics, and process-improvement solutions. This role bridges Finance stakeholders with technical teams, requiring expertise in ERP systems, advanced SQL, and enterprise BI platforms to build trusted dashboards and self-service analytics.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Finance stakeholders to understand business processes and translate needs into technical requirements and specifications
- Design, build, and maintain Finance dashboards, data models, and self-service analytics using enterprise BI platforms
- Use SQL and analytical tools to analyze data flows, reconcile systems, investigate discrepancies, and trace root causes
- Lead assigned workstreams through requirements, design, testing, implementation, and stakeholder sign-off
- Support automated monitoring, data-quality controls, and financially significant reporting processes
Requirements
- 7+ years of business intelligence, Finance analytics, or enterprise data solutions experience
- Expert-level SQL for complex queries, reconciliation, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
- Strong hands-on experience designing dashboards and BI data models in Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent
- Experience with SAP or comparable enterprise ERP platform and Finance processes
- Solid understanding of data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and data quality fundamentals
- Demonstrated ability leading UAT, regression testing, and business-readiness activities
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Analytics, Finance, Accounting, or related field
