Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for oncology patients using the nursing process and established standards.
- Assess patient status, implement and monitor care plans, administer medications per orders, document responses, and ensure patient safety.
- Supervise and direct activities of assigned nursing staff across levels, delegating tasks appropriately and maintaining quality of care.
- Coordinate care with multidisciplinary disciplines (e.g., medical, pharmacy, social work) to optimize patient outcomes.
- Apply critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent decision-making to adapt plans as needed.
- Maintain infection control practices and safety standards, provide patient and family education, and advocate for patient needs.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license (unrestricted)
- Oncology nursing experience or strong exposure to oncology care
- Ability to work nights and a 3x12-hour shift pattern
- Demonstrated clinical judgment and strong communication skills
- Ability to supervise and coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams in an inpatient setting
- Willingness to work in an oncology inpatient care environment on a travel assignment
