Job Summary:
Occupational Therapist Outpatient in Sacramento, California. This role involves assessing, planning, and participating in rehabilitative programs that help build or restore vocational, homemaking, and daily living skills, as well as general independence for persons with disabilities or developmental delays. Candidates must bring their valid California Occupational Therapist license and drivers license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Required Qualifications: Valid California Occupational Therapist license, valid drivers license with proof of car insurance, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, and at least 2 years of clinical experience.
• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Certifications: BLS, CA Occupational Therapist license, valid drivers license, and proof of car insurance required.
• Additional Information: Must be open to travel to patient homes as needed, including possible home assessments and visits within a 50-mile radius. Experience with adaptive equipment assessment, community re-entry, discharge planning, home assessments, and documentation in Epic electronic charting system preferred.
• Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel to patient homes as needed, with local candidates accepted at a lower rate. Candidates must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing and have a recent Nursys license report.
• Other Conditions: Candidates must provide a 7-year work history verification, recent references, and in-hand certifications. Background checks for criminal history or DUIs should be disclosed prior to submission.
