Responsibilities Draft a comprehensive report, with photographs, to help home buyers and sellers understand exactly what the inspection revealed Keep clients updated and promptly respond to requests so customers feel informed Flag specific repairs that might be needed, so homeowners can improve the property before it is sold Go through residential homes top to bottom to evaluate any repairs that need to be made Conduct thorough inspections of residential properties, ensuring every detail is meticulously examined Identify and document any structural issues, safety hazards, or necessary repairs, providing clear and actionable insights Compile comprehensive inspection reports that are easy to understand, helping clients make informed decisions Communicate findings effectively with clients, offering guidance and answering any questions they may have Stay updated with the latest industry standards and local regulations to ensure compliance and accuracy Collaborate with real estate agents and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth property transactions Manage your schedule efficiently, ensuring timely inspections and report deliveries for clients' convenience Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required One year experience in home inspection or construction position Must have solid customer service skills and communication abilities, verbally and in written form Capable of putting many details together for a comprehensive inspection and report Excellent organizational skills and multitasking skills Understand components of assessing needed repairs for an entire home, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, security systems, and more Current U.S. driver’s license and the ability to travel by car Familiar with basic computer software and use of email technology Has no problem with heights or confined spaces; able to evaluate roofs, crawl spaces, and attics Up-to-date licensing is required by the state Compensation $50,000 - $65,000 yearly #J-18808-Ljbffr
