Location: Franklin TN
THIS ROLE IS PERMANENT, MONADY-FRIDAY, 8A-5P. 40 HOURS A WEEK.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Active Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license
- 3+ years of oral surgery / surgical dental assisting experience
- Strong reliability, professionalism, and communication skills
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Assist oral surgeons during procedures such as extractions, implants, and sedation cases, anticipating needs and maintaining efficiency
- Prepare and sterilize instruments, set up operatories, and ensure a sterile surgical environment
- Monitor patients during procedures, including vital signs and patient comfort, following sedation protocols as applicable
- Provide chairside support, including suctioning, passing instruments, and documenting procedures
- Deliver post-operative instructions and support patient education
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation within EHR/practice management systems
- Collaborate with surgeons, clinical staff, and front office team to ensure a seamless patient experience
