Midsouth Steel, a leader in the erection and fabrication of structural and miscellaneous steel has an immediate need for a Maintenance Assistant. This is a full-time, direct hire position offering great benefits and opportunity for advancement.
Hours M-F 7a-3:30pLocation: ON SITE Job duties will entail. Assisting Lead Maintenance Tech with all of his duties including:
- Troubleshooting machinery.
- Low Voltage electrical work.
- Holding ladders.
- Carrying materials.
- Learning from Lead Tech on the job.
- Good mechanical and electrical aptitude.
- Punctuality and dependability.
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
- Must be able to read a tape measure.
- Good computer skills.
- Willingness to learn.
- Knowledge of safety fundamentals.
