Personal Residential Maintenance Assistant

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Personal Residential Maintenance Assistant to support the upkeep, maintenance, and presentation of a multiple luxury private residences. This position is responsible for ensuring the property, grounds, equipment, and household systems remain in excellent condition while providing exceptional service, discretion, and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine property inspections and identify maintenance needs.
• Coordinate and complete minor repairs, preventative maintenance, and seasonal upkeep.
• Monitor and maintain HVAC, plumbing, electrical, irrigation, and other household systems.
• Manage relationships with vendors, contractors, and service providers.
• Schedule and oversee maintenance appointments and project work.
• Maintain exterior areas including landscaping, walkways, patios, outdoor furnishings, and recreational spaces.
• Assist with vehicle care, equipment maintenance, and organization of garages and storage areas.
• Ensure the residence is guest-ready at all times.
• Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and household essentials.
• Respond promptly to maintenance issues and emergencies.
• Assist with special projects, home improvements, and event preparation as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, warranties, service schedules, and vendor information.
• Provide transportation services for homeowners, family members, and guests, including airport drop-offs and pick-ups.
• Assist with booking family personal travel, booking dr. appts and household invoice payment

Qualifications

• 3+ years of residential maintenance, estate management, luxury property care, or related experience preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of general home maintenance systems.
• Ability to perform basic carpentry, painting, plumbing, and mechanical repairs.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong communication and customer-service abilities.
• Exceptional trustworthiness, integrity, and dependability.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding homeowners, family members, guests, schedules, personal information, and property details.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks indoors and outdoors.
• High level of discretion, trustworthiness, and professionalism.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in luxury residences, estates, or private households.
• Knowledge of smart home technology and security systems.
• Experience coordinating vendors and managing maintenance budgets.
• Landscape and maintenance experience.

Work Environment

This position requires both indoor and outdoor work in all seasons and may involve occasional evening, weekend, or on-call responsibilities to address urgent property needs.
