Programmer Analyst
Location: Lansing, Michigan, USA (Onsite) | Employment Type: W2, Full-Time | Experience Required: 8+ years
Position Overview
This role involves maintaining and enhancing enterprise applications with a focus on master data management and integration technologies. The position requires strong technical expertise in IBM Infosphere MDM and modern data streaming platforms.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and support MPI, MIDSP, and Symmetry applications ensuring optimal performance
- Develop and optimize scripts, SQL queries, and custom reports for business needs
- Collaborate effectively with database administrators, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders
- Execute full software development lifecycle including requirements gathering, design, testing, deployment, and ongoing support
- Provide comprehensive application oversight, troubleshooting, and continuous enhancements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 8+ years of enterprise software development experience
- Strong hands-on expertise with IBM Infosphere MDM (Standard Edition)
- Proficiency in Apache Kafka including topics, producers/consumers, and troubleshooting
- Experience with Java/J2EE, REST/SOAP services, and production support environments
- Linux/Unix administration skills including scripting and CRON job management
- Advanced SQL query optimization experience with Oracle or MS SQL databases
- Knowledge of CI/CD practices using Azure DevOps or Git, plus familiarity with cloud platforms and OpenShift/Kubernetes
- Experience with ELK/Elastic Stack for log monitoring and analysis
