Infant/Toddler Lead Qualified Teacher
The Goddard School in Edgewater, MD is currently hiring Infant/Toddler Lead Qualified Teachers. Our ideal teachers will love and nurture our children while helping to build a foundation for early childhood development. Requirements:
- Kindness and strong character
- Desire to nurture children and help them to grow to help make the world a better place
- CDA or Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (not required, but preferred)
- 45 Hour Infant/Toddler Certificate Preferred. School is willing to provide tuition assistance, if not currently certified.
- EEC Certification preferred (will work with you to get certified)
- Must be able to work between the hours of 7:00AM – 6:00PM
Responsibilities:
- Implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum
- Providing positive guidance by supporting social and emotional development
- Establishing positive and productive relationships with families
- Ensuring a well-run program by developing lesson plans and building teamwork
- Understanding and implementing Goddard's Health & Safety procedures
Job Type: Full-time Salary: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Edgewater, MD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Work Location: In person
Experience:
- Teaching: 1-3 years (Preferred)
- Childcare: 1-3 years (Preferred)
Compensation: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
