Ambulatory Clinic RN Care Coordinator - Breast Surgery Oncology

Overview Position: Ambulatory Clinic RN Care Coordinator – Breast Surgery Oncology A licensed registered nurse providing ethical, evidence-based, and compassionate care focused on patient safety and quality. Responsible for managing patient flow, triage, and direct care, while coordinating communication between staff, physicians, patients, and families. Develops patient outcomes, supports self-management, and manages high-risk cases, including those with multiple co-morbidities. Conducts health education, facilitates continuity of care post-hospitalization, and documents using electronic health records. Educates patients on diagnostic procedures, medications, and health maintenance while maintaining confidentiality. Ensures all orders are completed and communicated to physicians. Supports clinical and educational programs to improve patient outcomes. Qualifications Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, RN licensure, and 2+ years of RN experience. Preferred: Medical office experience. Skills: Critical thinking, analytical skills, proficiency with EMR, excellent communication.
