Staff Geologist

STAFF GEOLOGIST / STAFF ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENTIST Broadbent & Associates, Inc. is hiring an entry‑level, full‑time Staff Geologist/Environmental Scientist to work on a variety of environmental projects at our Castle Pines, Colorado office. A DAY IN THE LIFE You will support a Principal Geologist on projects such as emergency response, Phase I site assessments, soil and groundwater characterization, air sampling, remediation system operation, lithologic logging, well construction monitoring, wastewater facility monitoring, and water‑resource activities. Tasks include field work, health and safety compliance, data collection, technical writing, and daily reporting. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, or Environmental Science. Entry‑level: zero to two years of applicable work experience. About 30% travel across the U.S. and occasional overnight stays in Colorado. Physical ability to work outdoors, traverse moderate terrain, and lift up to 50 lbs. Strong technical writing, computer, and GIS skills a plus. Self‑starter, quick learner, effective communication, and teamwork. WORK SCHEDULE Full‑time Monday–Friday with frequent travel and possible up to 2–3 week deployments for emergency response.
