Position Overview Heartland Wellness Center is actively seeking a dedicated and fully licensed Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic team in a fully remote capacity. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to identify the mental health needs of clients and develop individualized treatment plans incorporating evidence-based practices. Deliver psychotherapy using a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to the unique needs of each client. Maintain accurate clinical documentation that adheres to HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and compliance standards are met. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to provide coordinated care and support for clients, facilitating communication on treatment progress. Participate in regular case reviews and consultation meetings, enhancing therapeutic strategies and improving patient outcomes. Educate patients and their families about mental health issues, treatment pathways, and community resources to empower informed decision-making. Integrate current research and best practices into your clinical approach to continually enhance service delivery and effectiveness. Patient Population / Client Focus You will primarily engage with a diverse patient population experiencing a range of mental health issues, particularly those undergoing detoxification from substances. This role requires compassion and sensitivity to the unique struggles faced by these individuals, including the challenges of recovery and the multifaceted nature of their mental health needs. Your expertise will play a crucial role in facilitating their journey towards improved health and well-being. Qualifications Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution. Current and valid state licensing as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience providing psychotherapy to individuals, particularly in a substance use or mental health setting. Demonstrated proficiency in solution-focused and evidence-based therapeutic interventions. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with a treatment team. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on client-centered solutions. Ability to work autonomously while being part of a larger team. Preferred Experience Experience in detoxification or addiction recovery settings is highly desirable. Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and related technology. Knowledge of additional therapeutic modalities or certifications (such as EMDR, Motivational Interviewing) is a plus.
