About the Position

Job Title

Travel RN – Orthopedic / Neurology

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 13-Week Assignment | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 36-bed Orthopedic/Neurology unit with a 5:1 RN-to-patient ratio
• Care for patients undergoing total joint procedures including knee, hip, and shoulder replacements, as well as spine surgery
• Utilize and document within a Meditech EMR system
• Operate and manage unit-specific equipment including immobilizers, braces, and cold treatment devices
• Collaborate with charge RNs, patient care technicians, and unit secretaries across day shift operations

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of current Orthopedic RN or Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Orthopedic and/or spine surgery experience
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
