El Asistente Médico lleva a cabo funciones clínicas y administrativas delegadas, proporcionando apoyo directo a los proveedores de atención primaria y atención directa a los pacientes. Las ofertas finales se basan individualmente en diversos factores, incluyendo habilidades, años de experiencia, ubicación, calificaciones, horario de trabajo y otras razones relacionadas con el trabajo. Responsabilidades Realizará deberes y responsabilidades con excelencia, entusiasmo, gran orientación al servicio, demostrando comportamientos y modales corteses, y anticipando las necesidades del proveedor médico. Demostrará flexibilidad y asistirá con gusto a otros miembros del personal. Mantendrá un ambiente de trabajo seguro y saludable para los pacientes, para sí mismo y para los demás. Preparará las salas de examen y tratamiento para su uso por parte de los proveedores médicos, limpiando, reabasteciendo y organizando suministros, equipos e instrumentos. Entrevistará al paciente para determinar la razón de la visita; tomará los signos vitales del paciente, como presión arterial, pulso, respiración, temperatura, altura y peso; realizará extracciones de sangre, inmunizaciones, registrará información en el historial médico del paciente; e informará los hallazgos al personal correspondiente, de acuerdo con los requisitos estándar de WAC.
