Manager, Digital Accessibility and Compliance

Overview MiraCosta College is seeking to fill a regular, full-time Manager, Digital Accessibility and Compliance position (40 hours per week) on the Oceanside Campus. The normal work schedule will be 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with one optional remote day per week after probationary approval. Responsibilities Plan, coordinate, and provide operational oversight for the institution’s digital and information technology accessibility programs. Lead the development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of digital accessibility policies, procedures, and technical standards. Ensure institutional compliance with federal and state accessibility laws and regulations, including Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, the ADA, and WCAG. Collaborate with departments, faculty, and staff to integrate accessibility and usability into digital products, services, and resources. Serve as the primary subject matter expert in accessibility and lead initiatives to foster an inclusive digital environment for all users, including individuals with disabilities. Lead the Accessibility Workgroup and inform institutional strategic planning for the college.
