Environmental Assistant Department Manager

Responsibilities Provide support to the Environmental department manager, while performing technical, managerial, and administrative duties Oversee various Environmental services projects through all phases to completion, perform report reviews, and prepare proposals for environmental services. Lead and mentor a group of environmental technicians and/or project managers (must supervise a minimum of least 2 full-time employees) Duties regarding daily management of the group include timecard approval, onboarding, training, managing productivity, load leveling, moving the mail, ensuring deliverable deadlines are met, and making the group accountable for invoicing and collection efforts This position requires a commitment to manage the group for continued growth with a strong emphasis on marketing, business development, and client development As needed, assist with recruiting and maintaining an adequate staff level in your group Other duties as assigned Qualifications Required Qualifications BS in Environmental Engineering, Geology, or related field 8+ years of experience in Environmental Engineering or related field Professional Engineer (PE), Professional Geologist (PG), or other related licensure preferred Military Qualifications The following US Military ranks will qualify for this position IF they also meet the education and license requirements from the above section titled "Required Qualifications":
