Customer Service Representative

Location: Flint, Remote with initial in office training period, occasional in-office presence may be required thereafter. Must reside in the state of Michigan. Hours: 8:30AM 5:00PM Pay: $18/hr.

The Customer Service Representative serves as the primary point of contact for client and vendor interactions, providing timely, accurate, and professional support across all communication channels. This role is responsible for addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring a consistently high level of customer satisfaction, all while upholding VIVE's policies, procedures, and compliance standards.

Duties:

• Customer Interaction & Support
• Manage inbound and outbound calls, chats, and emails with professionalism and urgency
• Address and resolve customer inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and effectively
• De-escalate challenging customer interactions to achieve positive, solutions-focused outcomes
• Serve as the primary representative for all client-facing communications
• Documentation & Compliance
• Accurately document all customer interactions, decisions, and follow-up actions in company systems
• Familiarize yourself with and adhere to all VIVE policies, procedures, and compliance standards
• Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
• Collaborate with team members to continuously enhance the customer experience
• Refer unresolved issues to the appropriate departments for further investigation and follow-up
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of VIVE's platform, products, and procedures
• Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and staying current with customer service best practices

Qualifications:

• Education
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
• Experience
• Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in a phone-based or remote environment
• Required Skills & Competencies
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally
• Active listening skills, giving full attention, asking clarifying questions, and responding thoughtfully
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving ability; able to evaluate options and identify effective solutions
• Proficiency with Windows-based PCs and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, OneNote, SharePoint)
• Ability to type a minimum of 35 WPM accurately
• Quick adaptability to new software, including VIVE's proprietary platform
• Experience with Zendesk or similar CRM/ticketing systems preferred
• Strong work ethic, integrity, reliability, and a desire to take ownership and accountability

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Bilingual in English and Spanish
2. Experience in phone-based or remote customer service
3. Familiarity with public data, trade licensing, or insurance compliance
4. Experience with Zendesk or similar CRM tools
