Electrical Engineer

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer with 2–3 years of experience, with a strong emphasis on power system analysis and SCCAF (Short Circuit, Coordination, and Arc Flash) studies, to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in electrical power systems, experience with analysis software, and the ability to support design efforts on commercial and industrial projects.

Responsibilities:

Perform Short Circuit, Protective Device Coordination, and Arc Flash (SCCAF) studies using SKM Power Tools or similar software
Develop and validate system models, including utility sources, transformers, generators, and distribution equipment
Interpret study results and provide clear, actionable recommendations for system protection and code compliance
Generate and format detailed arc flash labels and technical reports for client deliverables
Coordinate with design engineers to ensure alignment between study models and construction documents
Support electrical design efforts using Revit and AutoCAD as needed
Assist in automating workflows and improving study/report efficiency using Excel, VBA, or scripting tools

Qualifications:

1–3 years of experience in electrical engineering with a focus on power systems or studies
Hands-on experience performing SCCAF studies using SKM Power Tools (or ETAP/EasyPower) xhyhwjd
Strong understanding of electrical power systems, protective devices, and the National Electrical Code
Ability to analyze results and communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is a plus
Experience with Excel, VBA, or scripting tools (JavaScript, Python, or Dynamo) is a plus
Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality
