As an Expert Team Trainer you serve as the primary product educator and AI evangelist for our customers. Your mission is to lead comprehensive training and coaching sessions that ensure users, from paralegals to partners, fully master Filevine’s capabilities and leverage cutting-edge AI tools to transform their workflows. 

Our Trainers are more than instructional guides; they are tech-fluent strategic partners in our customers' technological evolution. You won't just be teaching features; you will be evangelizing AI, consulting on workflow optimization, and coaching non-technical users to confidently embrace automated, intelligent solutions. By pairing a supportive, consultative approach with a deep fluency in modern technology, you will meet non-technical users at their current comfort level and guide them toward total software and AI mastery through training conducted via Zoom and in-person.

What You'll Do

• Own the Collective Outcome: Act as a primary catalyst for advanced product adoption by taking accountability for the success of every interaction. You will ensure that every training session moves the customer closer to seamless, everyday utilization of the Filevine product suite and its AI capabilities.

• Command the Room: Serve as an assertive, high-impact communicator and presenter who doesn't just give answers, but provides the strategic recommendations that instill immediate client confidence.

• Drive Strategic AI Adoption: Act as the primary catalyst for modernizing customer workflows. You will take ownership of the client onboarding and upskilling experience, ensuring users seamlessly integrate Filevine’s advanced AI features into their daily routines.

• Root-Cause Architect: Leverage exceptional curiosity and creative problem-solving to diagnose the core challenges behind every customer priority, designing targeted coaching moments that stick.

• Agile Technologist: Demonstrate a relentless, self-motivated drive to master new technologies, AI features, and software updates at the speed of innovation.

• Workflow Consultation & Coaching: Partner with firms to translate their operational goals into smart, automated workflows. You will coach legal professionals of varying degrees of technical expertise on how to effectively utilize and trust AI tools, turning software hesitation into long-term tech fluency.

• High-Impact Field Enablement: Act as the face of Filevine on the road. You’ll periodically travel to lead immersive, high-energy, in-person consulting and training sessions, delivering tailored solutions directly to our customers' offices.

• LEX User Summit Ambassador: Serve as a premier technical expert and solutions consultant at our annual LEX User Summit. You will engage directly with power users, resolve system queries, and demonstrate AI innovations to drive platform engagement.

Who You Are

• AI & Tech Evangelist: Possess a natural fluency in technology and a genuine enthusiasm for AI. You feel comfortable navigating new tech landscapes and can confidently inspire and coach others to embrace digital transformation.

• The Tech-to-Human Translator: Exceptional capability to bridge the gap between complex software/AI features and everyday business users. You are patient, highly persuasive, and comfortable handling objections from tech-skeptical audiences.

• AI Fluent & Curious: You possess a genuine enthusiasm for artificial intelligence and emerging technologies. You don't just use tech; you experiment with it, master it quickly, and enjoy showing others how it can make their lives easier.

• Strategic Communicator: A dynamic presenter who commands a room (or a Zoom call). You don't just read off a script—you provide proactive, high-value recommendations that instantly establish professional credibility.

• Problem-Solving Architect: Driven by a natural curiosity to diagnose the "why" behind a client's workflow bottleneck and creatively architect a software solution that addresses the root cause.

• We highly value backgrounds in technical consulting, SaaS implementation, customer success, or legal tech. (Experience working within a modern law firm is a major plus!)

• 1–2 years of experience in either the legal profession, classroom education, software training, implementation consulting, technical coaching or equivalent pedagogical background with a demonstrable comfort level evangelizing AI or automation tools.

Work Location Expectation: This position is based out of our San Francisco, Chicago, Salt Lake City or New York offices. Candidates residing in or near these metro areas are expected to work on a hybrid (2-3 days in-office/week) or fully onsite basis.
