LVL Framing Corp is seeking an experienced Construction Outside Sales Representative to generate new business opportunities and expand our client network throughout Southern California.

This position is focused on multifamily residential developments, hotels, mixed-use developments, commercial buildings, and other large-scale construction projects. This is not a single-family residential or homeowner sales position.

The ideal candidate is proactive, confident, relationship-oriented , and experienced in construction sales or business development. The selected candidate will be responsible for identifying potential clients, presenting LVL Framing Corp’s services, generating invitations to bid, and developing long-term relationships with general contractors, developers, owners, and construction professionals.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new multifamily, hospitality, mixed-use, and commercial construction opportunities.
• Research upcoming projects, general contractors, developers, and potential clients.
• Contact and visit general contractors, developers, owners, and preconstruction teams to introduce LVL Framing Corp.
• Present the company’s framing services, capabilities, completed projects, and qualifications.
• Generate qualified leads, invitations to bid, RFQs, and opportunities for the estimating department.
• Schedule and attend meetings with potential clients. 
• Follow up consistently with clients regarding upcoming projects, bids, proposals, and awarded work.
• Build and maintain strong professional relationships within the Southern California construction industry.
• Attend networking events, construction industry meetings, and other business development opportunities.
• Coordinate with the estimating and project management teams to ensure proper follow-up on potential projects.
• Maintain organized records of client contacts, meetings, opportunities, proposals, and follow-ups.
• Meet established monthly and quarterly sales and business development goals Qualifications
• Minimum of 3 years of construction sales, outside sales, or business development experience preferred.
• Experience in commercial construction, multifamily construction, hospitality construction, structural framing, or the subcontractor industry is strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to generate leads, develop client relationships, and create new business opportunities.
• Knowledge of the construction bidding, estimating, and preconstruction process.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
• Comfortable making calls, visiting potential clients, attending meetings, and actively pursuing new accounts.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple leads and opportunities.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel locally throughout Southern California.
• Existing relationships with general contractors, developers, owners, or preconstruction professionals are a strong plus.
• Bilingual English and Spanish is a plus but not required.
• Compensation and Benefits
• Full-time position.
• Compensation range: $80,000–$100,000 per year, depending on experience.
• Additional commission or performance-based compensation for awarded projects, according to the company’s compensation plan.
• Hybrid position based in Corona, California.
• Local travel throughout Southern California will be required.
