Direct Support Professional

Kindly Direct Care is hiring a part-time Direct Support Professional for a one-to-one opportunity in Middlesex County.

This can be a great fit for a college student, educator, human-services professional, caregiver, or someone looking for meaningful part-time work. Consistency matters: although the hours may be limited, the individual and family rely on the DSP to keep the agreed schedule.

What You'll Do:

• Support an adult with developmental disabilities at home and/or in the community.
• Provide support to a 36-year-old verbal individual with a mild intellectual disability. She enjoys going to the movies, gym, and library. She is high-functioning and benefits from a patient, dependable, and reliable DSP who can provide companionship and support during evening hours.
• Encourage independence, social connection, and progress toward personal goals.
• Assist with routines and activities based on the individual's needs.
• Maintain safety and follow individualized support instructions.
• Complete required documentation after services and communicate reliably with the Kindly team.

Qualifications:

• Able to consistently commit to the exact posted schedule.
• Dependable, respectful, patient, and comfortable working one-to-one.
• Able to complete required onboarding, background checks, and training.

Schedule: Thursday & Friday evenings. 8 hrs. a week. (Flexible) Pay: 19-21/hr. Location: Plainsboro NJ 08536 Driving on shift: REQUIRED
