Our team is dedicated to eliminating customer pain points, resolving the current challenges of existing Cryptocurrency exchanges such as weaker protection against hackers, making users keep assets on the exchanges, and high transaction fees. As a Data Architect, you will serve as a Backend DB and Interface Architect for specific modules in the cryptocurrency exchange. Aligned with our mission to deliver outstanding support, you will work closely with developers, software programmers, and QA testers to ensure compliance with audit requirements, generate actionable insights, and share key findings with stakeholders. You’ll have the opportunity to work on a high-impact project in the trillion-dollar Cryptocurrency market. We prioritize design quality, customer focus, and rapid iteration. Report onsite at our corporate office in San Jose, CA. We are looking to fulfill 2 positions for this same role. Your Role And Responsibilities Design a centralized Crypto Currency Exchange (Marai-X) with a web interface, admin dashboard, mobile apps, and trading engine. Design features including onboarding, crypto wallet, charts, order book, transaction history, and portfolio analytics. Design crypto staking, cold wallet integration, credit card integration, P2P crypto trading, KYT practices, exchange token, and API endpoints. Collaborate with engineering leaders to define crypto exchange visions and translate them into technical roadmaps. Lead the design and review of new and existing system architecture. Conduct deep research into current platforms and identify areas for optimization. Create documentation, diagrams, and presentations to communicate architectural strategies. Mentor and coach developers to cultivate technical leadership. Architect integration patterns for Developer Platforms and test environments. Develop technical standards, blueprints, and design patterns for internal tools. Implement developer-focused solutions like portals and API gateway integrations. Evaluate strategic architecture investments and technologies. Prioritize scalability, security, traceability, and observability in designs. Guide technology investment decisions aligned with industry standards. Apply organizational principles such as Conway’s Law to system design. Lead cross-functional architecture reviews and maintain design records. Support teams in incident management and RCA processes. Collaborate to reduce inefficiencies and redundant development efforts. Mentor teams and advocate engineering excellence and innovation. Communicate technical concepts clearly across all stakeholder levels. Develop with blockchain tools, smart contracts, and decentralized platforms. Drive architectural decisions in a fast-paced startup environment. Qualifications Education: 4-year bachelor's degree in a relevant field or 3 years of relevant work experience. Creativity, pragmatism, and empathy in solving technical and business challenges. A love of technology and a growth mindset. Strong communication skills in written, verbal, and visual formats. Experience designing large-scale, complex software systems with strategic outcomes. Proven ability in mentoring engineers and developing talent. Experience with high-volume platforms, cloud technologies, and modern architectures. Prior supervisory or team leadership experience. Background in customer support or account management.
