Shipyard Electrical Instruction Lead

Enable safe, high-quality electrical work across production by leading instruction that elevates capability, consistency, and compliance.

What you’ll do

Provide on-the-job training, targeted skills instruction, and formal classroom teaching within assembly and production environments.
Design, develop, and implement new training programs aligned to operational needs.
Introduce updated manufacturing processes and work sequences; coach teams through adoption.
Own training rosters, examinations, and certification records; ensure documentation integrity.
Monitor trainee progression and recommend next-step development.

Minimum qualifications

High School Diploma or GED
5 years of additional education and/or relevant experience

Technical profile

Marine electrical experience, including:
- Absence of Voltage (AOV)
- Electrostatic Discharge (ESD)
- Arc Flash
Proficiency in marine electrician safety procedures and best practices
Ability to flex to different shifts as business needs change
