Part-Time Temporary- Security Guard (Pool) 2026

Part-Time Security Guard Department: Safety and Security Position Type: Part-Time (Pool) Columbia State Community College is seeking qualified individuals to join our part-time Security Guard pool. Security Guards help maintain a safe and secure environment for students, employees, and visitors by supporting campus safety operations as needed. Additional Details:
Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis. Candidates will be contacted as positions become available.

- Duties may include monitoring campus facilities, patrolling grounds, responding to incidents, and assisting with emergency procedures. Work assignments, schedules, and location will vary based on departmental needs.
- Positions are temporary and based on the immediate needs of the college.
- Weekly hours will vary by assignment but will not exceed 29 hours per week .
- Applicants are encouraged to complete the application thoroughly and submit a resume along with any supporting documentation that highlights relevant skills and experience.

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to communicate effectively and respond calmly in emergency situations
- Prior security or law enforcement experience is preferred but not required
