Our therapists work one-on-one with clients for 60-minute follow-up visits and 1-2 hour evaluations , giving you the time to listen, assess the whole person, provide hands-on treatment, incorporate movement, educate, and build a plan that actually reflects the client's goals. Wants to contribute to a positive team culture and a growing practice. Clinical Responsibilities Perform comprehensive evaluations for clients with pelvic floor and related orthopedic concerns. Perform external and internal pelvic floor examinations when clinically appropriate and with informed client consent. Develop individualized plans of care based on examination findings, clinical reasoning, and each client's goals. Provide one-on-one treatment utilizing evidence-informed interventions including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, movement retraining, neuromuscular re-education, education, and behavioral strategies. Address the relationship between the pelvic floor and the broader musculoskeletal system, including the hips, spine, core, diaphragm, and rib cage. Educate clients about pelvic floor anatomy, function, symptom management, movement, exercise, and strategies they can confidently use outside of therapy. Continually assess client progress and modify treatment plans as needed. Maintain accurate and timely documentation. Communicate and collaborate with physicians, midwives, doulas, mental health professionals, fitness professionals, and other members of a client's care team when appropriate. Participate in team meetings, mentorship, case discussions, and continuing education. Use person-first, inclusive, and trauma-informed language and care practices. Contribute to community education, workshops, professional relationships, or other practice initiatives based on interest and availability. Qualifications Required: Doctoral or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program. Current Wisconsin Physical Therapist license or eligibility for Wisconsin licensure. Completion of introductory pelvic health coursework through Herman & Wallace, APTA Pelvic Health, or an equivalent program. Training and competency in internal pelvic floor examination and treatment. Strong orthopedic examination and treatment skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Commitment to continued professional growth and evidence-informed care. Preferred, but not required: 1–2+ years of pelvic health clinical experience. Advanced pelvic health continuing education or certification. Dry needling training. Visceral manipulation or other advanced manual therapy training. Experience treating male pelvic health concerns. Experience treating pediatric pelvic health concerns. Experience with pregnancy, postpartum, pelvic pain, return to exercise/sport, bowel and bladder dysfunction, or other specialty pelvic health populations. Don't check every preferred box? Silver Spring Dr., Whitefish Bay Wisconsin Schedule: Primarily weekday/daytime hours with flexibility based on clinic and therapist needs. No weekends or holidays.
