Production Machine Operator

The schedule and pay:

• $29.68/hr : $24.68 base plus a $5/hr night shift premium
• MondayThursday 6:00pm6:00am so every weekend is a 3-day weekend
• Paid weekly

Position: 

Were looking for hands-on mechanically minded operators who enjoy working with equipment solving problems and being part of a team that takes pride in what they produce.

• Run automated production equipment and hit daily production goals
• Set up equipment and handle preventative maintenance
• Troubleshoot adjust and make minor repairs using hand tools and measuring devices and bring in Maintenance when needed to keep the line moving
• Take apart and reassemble heavy components using hoists and hand tools
• Check product quality including color blends and flag anything thats off
• Keep accurate daily production and maintenance reports
• Hand off clearly at shift change so the next crew knows exactly where things stand
• Work safely and follow plant procedures

Qualifications :

What you need

• 3 years in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Comfort leading or guiding coworkers on the floor
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Availability for occasional overtime or weekend coverage when production requires it
• High school diploma or GED

Bonus points (not required)

• Mechanical or electrical troubleshooting experience
• Experience in concrete or concrete products manufacturing
• Familiarity with equipment like Masa Hess Omag Columbia Rekers or Besser
• Experience with ERP systems or Microsoft Office

The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms talk or hear.
