7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, 8 Hour Days / Weekends for call only

Job Description

Deliver care to patients utilizing the nursing process in accordance with established philosophy. Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes. Effectively interact with patients, families, and visitors while maintaining the standard of professional nursing. Provide physical and psychological support to patients.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to deliver patient care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.
• Engage and communicate effectively with patients and their families.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms as part of patient care.
• Participate in call coverage as needed (10-15 call shifts per month).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2+ years of RN experience in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (required).
• MediTech EMR Experience (preferred).
• Active Arkansas or Compact RN License (required).
• Active American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (required).
• Ability to interpret cardiac rhythms and perform circulation monitoring (required).
