Key Qualifications:

• Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
• Valid California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) credential in School Psychology
• Previous experience working as a School Psychologist in a K-8 or similar educational setting is highly desirable
• Strong assessment, counseling, and consultative skills
• Familiarity with IEP processes, special education law, and best practices in intervention
• Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation abilities
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students referred for special education services
• Participate actively in IEP meetings, providing expert guidance on students' cognitive, social, behavioral, and emotional needs
• Deliver direct counseling and mental health support to students, both individually and in small groups
• Consult with teachers, staff, and parents to develop effective intervention plans and strategies
• Support crisis intervention, problem-solving teams, and school-wide preventative programs
• Maintain clear, timely documentation according to district and legal guidelines
