Business Analyst

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Business Systems Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst on Systematics with a strong working knowledge of tools such as TSO/ISPF, PDS & Application Datasets, SDSF options, File Aid, Easytrieve, Terminal Emulator Macros, COBOL, JIRA, Confluence, Endevor, and Monarch. The candidate should have a strong working knowledge and experience of technical skills such as in-depth, hands-on experience from a technology perspective, data conversion, testing, application balancing, and GL reconciliation.

The role of the Business Systems Analyst will be to lead business and technical meetings, turn data into useful documentation for meeting presentations, communicate effectively to both technical and business audiences, and work as part of a remote team including remote deployments. The successful candidate will have experience writing business and system requirements, including custom screen and report definitions, complex function customizations, and net new functions, as well as creating use case documentation with a formal use case structure for both business and system use cases.

The ideal candidate will possess strong soft skills such as communication, leadership, and a proven track record of working and delivering with high-performance teams. Familiarity with ZBA/TBA/Sweep Functionality, Microsoft Applications / Office applications including Excel (Formulas, Filters, Pivot tables), Visio (create diagrams & flow charts), Teams, and SharePoint is required. Additionally, the candidate should have experience working in cross-functional matrix teams and working with both waterfall and agile methodologies.
