Job Description Summary Under general supervision, the Registered Nurse II provides individualized, goal‑directed patient care to families and patients at a competent level utilizing the principles and practices of the nursing process; delivers safe and effective care and interacts with other members of the health care team to achieve desired results. Benefits $18,000 sign‑on bonus. Minimum Training and Education Associate degree in nursing. Bachelor’s degree preferred. At least one year of experience as a Registered Nurse. Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Required Either an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers certification, an AHA recognized equivalent, or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider. Physical and Mental Requirements Ability to perform job functions while standing, sitting, walking, climbing stairs, working indoors, outdoors in temperature extremes, from elevated areas, in confined spaces, from kneeling positions, bending at the waist, twisting at the waist, squatting, pinching operations, gross motor activities with fingers and hands, firm grasping, fine manipulation, reach overhead, repetitive motions with hands/wrists/elbows/shoulders, using both legs, lower extremities for balance and coordination, reaching in all directions, lifting and carrying 50 lbs. unassisted, lifting/lowering objects 50 lbs. from/to floor 36 inches unassisted, lifting from 36 #J-18808-Ljbffr MUSC Health
