CNA - Weekend Morning Shift

Role Overview The Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) provides home care services to patients in their residences, focusing on direct patient care, personal hygiene, mobility assistance, and basic nursing tasks under supervision. Key Responsibilities Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and mouth care. Support patient mobility through transfers, repositioning, and ambulation. Follow care plans and provide prescribed exercises as directed by healthcare professionals. Prepare meals considering client preferences and dietary needs. Offer companionship and engage clients in activities suited to their interests. Perform light housekeeping duties and maintain accurate records of care provided. Monitor and report changes in clients' physical or psychosocial conditions. Use EVV systems to document tasks and adhere to assigned schedules. Uphold patient confidentiality, privacy, and rights, and report any concerns or abuse. Qualifications & Skills Current certification with DFS. High school diploma or GED preferred. Effective communication skills, including reading and writing. Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting (up to 50 lbs.), bending, and standing. Compassionate attitude towards patient care.
