Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct comprehensive client assessments and create individualized treatment plans that accurately reflect the client's needs and goals.

  • Regularly participate in Child and Family team meetings to discuss cases, treatment planning, and progress reviews in a collaborative manner.
  • \n
  • Ensure timely completion of all documentation related to client care, including treatment updates and discharge reports, adhering to established agency and licensing guidelines.
  • \n
  • Safeguard client confidentiality by meticulously maintaining and securing all client records, respecting their privacy at all times.
  • \n
  • Utilize evidence-based strategies to effectively diagnose and implement treatment interventions for children and adolescents, adapting techniques as necessary to fit individual circumstances.
  • \n
Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will primarily involve working with children and adolescents facing various emotional and behavioral difficulties. By establishing trust and rapport, you will empower these young clients and their families to navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma, fostering resilience and improvement. You will also work closely with adult family members to ensure a holistic approach to treatment.

Qualifications\n

  • A valid Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license in the state of Washington is required.

  • A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field is mandatory.
  • \n
  • Minimum of 2 years of post-graduate experience in clinical therapy or mental health settings.
  • \n
  • Strong understanding of developmental theories, psychological growth, individual differences, and abnormal behavior.

Preferred Experience\n

  • Experience in child and adolescent therapy, particularly with populations that exhibit behavioral challenges or trauma histories.

  • Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote therapy techniques.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers an attractive annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $105,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
