About the Role:
Join San Diego Unified School District as an FPC Enterprise Systems Administrator and play a key role in optimizing our enterprise systems. We are looking for a tech-savvy professional who is excited to enhance our operational efficiency and support our growing team in Chula Vista, CA.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain enterprise systems, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
- Implement system upgrades, patches, and enhancements to improve functionality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to enterprise applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and enhance system capabilities.
- Monitor system performance and conduct regular audits for compliance and security.
- Document system configurations and maintain up-to-date technical documentation.
- Provide training and support to end-users for effective system utilization.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend improvements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in enterprise systems administration or related role.
- Strong knowledge of system administration best practices and methodologies.
- Experience with cloud technologies and virtualization platforms.
- Proficient in scripting languages for automation (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator) are a plus.
