BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated RN Registered Nurse –  Remote Role (Local to Austin )

Duration: 9+ Months Contract

Skills Description:
Unrestricted Registered Nurse license. High School Diploma or GED

Professional Skill Requirements:
Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment. Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
Desire to work in an information systems environment. Excellent leadership, communication written and oral and interpersonal skills

Would be nice to have skills:
• Medicaid Experience.
Experience with AWS CRM, Microsoft office experience. Effective multi-tasking.

Roles and responsibilities:
Must be available to work any 8 hour, shift schedule from 10am to 7pm.
Conducts medical necessity reviews for Long Term Care form submissions.
Review and analyze medical necessity documentation and assessments according to established criteria and protocols.
Produce decisions as required based on knowledge of Medicaid requirements and training as a Registered Nurse.
Maintain appropriate documentation and support for all requests. Participate in Fair Hearings as assigned.
Review complaints and appeals by providers investigate and evaluate facts and advise disposition.
Manage incoming phone calls from the provider and customer communities.
Cross train to other areas and assist as required.

This role provides functional telephone support for resolution of customer problems, incidents, issues, requests and queries.
Ensure proper documentation, notification, escalation of contacts.
Responsibilities include operating phone queue and participating in scheduled training.
Manage incoming phone calls from the provider and customer communities in a prompt, courteous, and concise manner.
