Pediatric Infectious Disease Physician

Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center , located in Bangor, Maine , seeks a BC/BE Pediatric Infectious Disease physician. This will be a 0.7 FTE role comprised of 0.5 FTE Pediatric Infectious Disease role and an optional 0.2 FTE hospitalist role.

Pediatric infectious disease works primarily as a consult service with our pediatric sub-specialties and inpatient units, including our 6-bed PICU, Level 3 NICU, and pediatric ward. Referrals from our newborn medicine and general pediatrics services are additionally supported outpatient.

Compensation Information:

• $158,084 annual base salary

• The compensation range listed reflects the range Northern Light Health anticipates relying on in setting the wages for the position. The range may not necessarily include all additional compensation elements available, including but not limited to call pay, leadership stipends, etc.

Qualifications

• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Pediatric Infectious Disease

• Excellent communication skills

• Strong interest in teaching and outreach across a broad geographic area

• Desire to become part of a multidisciplinary pediatric care team
