Job Description

Operate a sit-down forklift within a metal fabrication shop. The role requires consistent physical ability to lift 50 pounds throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a sit-down forklift in a metal fabrication environment.

• Handle materials efficiently and ensure their proper storage and transportation.

• Perform general labor tasks as needed within the shop.

• Consistently lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.

Essential Skills

• Proven experience in forklift operation, specifically sit-down forklifts.

• Strong material handling skills.

• Ability to perform general labor tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in a metal fabrication setting is beneficial.

Work Environment

The work environment is a metal fabrication shop requiring the use of a sit-down forklift for material handling. The shift hours are from 5:30AM to 4:00PM, Monday through Thursday, offering a consistent schedule.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bloomington, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
