About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Finance and Internal Operations Officer (CFIO) to provide strategic leadership in the areas of financial health, operational excellence, human resources, and technology infrastructure. The CFIO will be a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, responsible for modernizing and strengthening financial and operational systems, ensuring compliance and risk management, and overseeing organizational planning and performance. This executive role involves leading teams across finance, HR, IT, and internal operations to support the organization's mission and long-term sustainability. Key responsibilities for the CFIO include strategic financial leadership, financial management, human resources leadership, operations and information technology oversight, and risk management. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, with an advanced degree or professional credentials preferred, and 7-10 years' of leadership experience in nonprofit finance and operations. The role requires expertise in nonprofit accounting, grants management, compliance, and audit coordination, as well as strong skills in strategic financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. The CFIO will also be responsible for supervising and developing a diverse team, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and maintaining open communication to support continuous improvement efforts.
