- Conduct comprehensive evaluations across pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics utilizing both standardized assessments and observational methods.
- Create tailored treatment plans to meet both immediate goals and long-term aspirations related to communication, cognitive, or swallowing abilities.
- Deliver one-on-one therapy focused on enhancing communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing capabilities.
- Collaborate with physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to design and implement integrated care strategies.
- Provide essential education for patients and their families to support their progress beyond the clinic.
- Assist with occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions, ensuring seamless continuity of care throughout the treatment process.
- Keep precise and timely documentation in accordance with relevant state, federal, and organizational regulations.
- Engage in continuous learning and peer collaboration to stay at the forefront of advancements in the field.
- A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not previously ASHA-certified.
- State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
- American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be acquired within 30 days of starting employment.
- Expertise in evidence-based therapeutic approaches across the lifespan, with a comprehensive understanding of developmental and acquired communication, speech, and swallowing disorders.
- Exceptional interpersonal engagement with patients, their families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Ability to adapt therapy methodologies to cater to various cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
